Description

Sure, a microscope is an optical instrument used to magnify and observe objects that are too small to be seen by the naked eye. It consists of several key parts:

Eyepiece: Also called the ocular lens, this is where the viewer looks through to observe the specimen. It typically provides a magnification of 10x.
Objective Lens: The lens closest to the specimen. Microscopes can have multiple objective lenses with varying magnification powers (e.g., 4x, 10x, 40x, 100x). By rotating different objective lenses into place, the overall magnification of the specimen can be adjusted.
Stage: The platform where the specimen is placed for observation. It often includes clips or other mechanisms to hold the slide in place.
Illumination Source: Light source, such as a bulb, that illuminates the specimen from below (in a compound microscope) or from above (in a stereo microscope).

This biological microscope comes with lots of accessories that you can have a lot of fun with. The microscope has a fixed eyepiece of 10x and with the three lenses a magnification of 100x, 400x or 900x can be achieved.

Housing

The housing is made of metal with plastic parts, such as the 60 x 60 mm table on which the samples can be placed. This table is equipped with two clamps to clamp the sample so that it does not move during observations. The microscope is also equipped with a focusing wheel that can be used to change the distance between the stage and the lens, allowing a sharp view of the object. There is a color filter disk under the table with four colors (red, green, blue and light blue) so that you can expose the sample to a different color. You will also find exposure holes in four different sizes on the disc. This allows you to determine the level of illumination required to expose the sample.

Lighting

Under the table you will find a mirror with which you can illuminate the sample. By capturing light with the mirror, the sample can be illuminated. It is also possible to illuminate with an LED light, to do this you have to turn the mirror over so that the light is visible from above. If you want to use this LED light, you need to insert 2 AA batteries (optional) into the base below. This can be done by loosening the screws and inserting the batteries.
