Warranty conditions with 2/3/5/10 years warranty
Photoshop Becker takes over a first manufacturer warranty. The legal claims arising from the statutory warranty remain unaffected. The manufacturer's warranty is without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability, such as the product liability law, in cases of intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, limb or health by Photoshop Becker or its agents"Consumer" for the purposes of this manufacturer's warranty is any natural person who is a first-time customer of the product and has not purchased it to resell it or install it as part of their commercial or self-employed professional activity with third parties. "First Customer" is the consumer who first purchased the product from Photoshop Becker.
Valid for products purchased by new customers from January, 1.2017 (invoice / purchase receipt):
Photoshop Becker guarantees first-time customers that its products are free of material, manufacturing and Design errors are. The product must already have the error that caused the damage this date. Claims for compensation for consequential damage or product liability exist only in accordance with the statutory provisions.
This warranty is valid for the period specified in the product description (if specified) from the date of purchase (invoice date) by the first customer. The warranty period shall not be extended due to the provision of services under this warranty, in particular for repair or replacement. The warranty period does not start in these cases.
The rights of this warranty can be claimed by the consumer by written error notification within the warranty period to Photoshop Becker. The prerequisite is that the consumer displays the error within two weeks after he has recognized it, or should have recognized it. It is the responsibility of the consumer to prove that the guarantee has not expired (eg by presenting proof of purchase).
Photoshop Becker is free to repair the product, make an exchange or refund the purchase price to the consumer. The costs of repair and replacement of own labor costs. When replacing the old product is replaced by a new product of the same type, same quality and same type free of charge. If the affected product is no longer produced at the time the error is reported, Photoshop Becker is entitled to supply a similar product. Condition for the effectiveness of this guarantee is the proper installation, use and maintenance according to the operating instructions and the recognized rules of technology.
The warranty claim does not extend to:

- Fragile parts, such as flash tubes, glass, light bulbs
- Consumables, such as batteries

The validity of the guarantee ends at:
- Failure to comply with the provided assembly, care and operating instructions
- Installation, maintenance, repair or care by unqualified persons
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear or intentional damage - in the case of negligent damage, contributory negligence is mutually taken into account

The consumer is entitled to legal rights in addition to the rights under the guarantee. These rights, which may be more favorable to the consumer, are not limited by the guarantee. The warranty also does not affect the rights of the primary customer and, if applicable, the consumer against the seller from whom the first customer purchased the product.
This guarantee is subject to German law, excluding the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods (CISG) of April 11, 1980. Place of performance for the obligations under this guarantee is Bad Schwalbach, Germany. As far as permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Bad Schwalbach, Germany.
