Description

The Byomic Study Microsoop BYO-500T is a professional microscope that is equipped with a trinocular Siedentopf head with planchromatic lenses for realistic reproduction and Reduction of chromatic aberration is equipped. All optical parts of the BYO-500T have an anti-fungal coating. The microscope comes with a metal stand, dimmable LED lighting, an Abbe condenseroh N.A. 1.25 supplied with iris diaphragm and blue filter.

Casing

The BYO-500T has a metal housing with an integrated stage of 142 x 132 mm, which is equipped with a coaxial cross stage that it allows the sample to be moved without touching it. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing device on the right side of the table ensures very precise observation. The table can be adjusted in height from 8 ~ 25 mm. The base contains the lighting, which can be controlled with the rotary wheel on the left side. The focusing wheel can be used to control the distance between the lens and the table. This makes it possible to view the sample at the correct distance.

On the back of the housing, next to the power cable, there is a switch for switching the lighting on and off.

Eyepieces

Because the BYO-500T has two wide-angle eyepieces equipped, have a large field of vision and an excellent depth of field. The achromatic DIN lenses ensure less chromatic aberration and reproduce colors naturally. This makes the microscope ideal for photo and video applications. The BYO-500T features a third barrel to which you can connect your DSLR camera using the optional Byomic DSLR camera adapter and T2 adapter ring. The eyepieces have a viewing angle of 45 degrees, allowing the microscope to be used in a relaxed position. The distance between the eyes is adjustable between 54 and 75 mm. Both eyepieces can also be adjusted in diopter so that you get a clear view of the object.

Illumination

The transmitted light of the Byomic BYO-500T comes from an LED in the base of the microscope. This LED can be adjusted using the dial on the left side of the microscope. Below the table is the Abbe condenser, which ensures that the light is distributed as efficiently and evenly as possible across the object for the best results.

The Abbe condenser contains the filter holder into which the included blue filter slide can be inserted. The top of the Abbe condenser can be unscrewed, after which the filter holder becomes visible. There is a small slide at the bottom of the Abbe condenser that allows the aperture to be increased and decreased to determine the amount of light transmitted. The height of the Abbe condenser can be adjusted using the rotary wheel on the left side.
