The LED BYO-ST341 is used by advanced users for professional purposes. Since the microscope has two achromatic plan zoom lenses (adjustable from 0.75x - 5x), a magnification of 7.5 - 50x can be achieved with the two wide-angle eyepieces of 10x. By adjusting the diopter of both eyepieces to your eyes, razor-sharp images can be achieved when observing.
Housing
The BYO-ST341 LED has a robust metal housing with an integrated 130x table 130 mm, which is equipped with two sturdy clamps that hold a sample well in position. As a result, it does not shift during observation. There is a contrast plate with Ø95mm in the table. This contrast plate is white on one side and black on the other side, so that observations can be made with a different contrast. An illumination glass is also included so that the samples can be illuminated with light from below.
Eyepieces
Because the BYO-ST341 LED is equipped with two wide-angle eyepieces, you have a large field of view and excellent depth of field. The plan achromatic lenses ensure less chromatic aberration and natural color reproduction. This makes the microscope ideal for photo and video applications. The BYO-ST341LED features a third tube to which you can connect your DSLR camera using the optional Byomic DSLR camera adapter and T2 adapter ring. This makes it possible to photograph or film all observations. The included camera tube ensures that this optional Byomic DSLR camera adapter is correctly mounted in the tube. The eyepieces have a 45 degree viewing angle, allowing the microscope to be used in a relaxed position. The distance between the eyes is adjustable between 55 and 75 mm. The included premium eyecups can be pushed over the eyepieces. An eyecup prevents stray light from entering the viewfinder and increases comfort when selecting images. The soft rubber coating on the eyecup is particularly recommended for people who wear glasses.
Lighting
The lighting can be operated with the two switches. The switch on the left is used to turn the backlight on and off. The switch on the right is for the lighting, which can also be changed in brightness using the wheel on the front. This ensures that the sample always has the right amount of light. The maximum height is approximately 220mm, measured between the table and the lens. Larger objects are also possible because the microscope can be rotated 360°. In addition to the Ø95mm dialect slide, a Ø95mm contrast plate in black and white is included so that you can also work with contrast.
