Description
The complete Falcon Eyes Bi-Color LED LPW-820TD set includes two dimmable Falcon Eyes Bi-Color LP-820TD LED lights and two Falcon Eyes W806 light stands .
The Falcon Eyes Wi-Fi LED light LPW-820TD is dimmable with an output of 49.2W. The panel consists of 820 LEDs that produces a color temperature of 3000 to 8000 Kelvin. The light is operated via the touchscreen display on the back of the light. You can either operate them with mains power or with an optional V-mount battery.
The advantage of LED lights is that both the color temperature and the power can be adjusted continuously. This makes LED lights ideal for animal and baby photography.
Falcon Eyes Light Stand W806 114-260 cm
Universal light stand. Very light and solid. The low weight, the air suspension and the compact size make the tripods of the Falcon Eyes W series the ideal and reliable companion for all lighting situations in the studio and on the set. All standard studio lights and studio flashes can be attached to the tripod with the standard spigot connection.
Wireless control via Wi-Fi
The light has a Wi-Fi connection which can be used in conjunction with the USB FALCON EYES Wi-Fi Dongle RC-W01 (optional accessory) and the Falcon Eyes App. The light output and color temperature are controlled with your smartphone (iOS or Android).
In addition to operate via the screen and the rotary knobs on the back, you can also control the light with your smartphone. Free apps are available in the App and Play Store. Here are the instructions for setting and handling the Wifi function (only works in connection with the FALCON EYES Wi-Fi Dongle RC-W01):
Individual light
- Download the Falcon Eyes app by entering this address on your iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/falcon-eyes/id954980379 or with your Android smartphone this one: https://benel.stackstorage.com/s/yIU1xzQn3puRm4e.
- Go to your smartphone's Wifi settings and connect to the network starting with 'LEDS'. The password is 'candlehome'.
- Open the Falcon Eyes app and click 'Click me'.
- Click on the IP address block, starting with 192 .
- You can now use the slider bar below to adjust the brightness. You can also regulate the color temperature by swiping the circular disc in the middle.
Multiple lights
If you have several lights to control via the app at the same time you need a Wifi router. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Download the Falcon Eyes app by entering this address on your iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/falcon-eyes /id954980379 or with your Android smartphone this: https://benel.stackstorage.com/s/yIU1xzQn3puRm4e.
- Connect the Wifi router to the power supply and have the network name and password available. An internet connection is not required.
- Connect to the WiFi network from your smartphone.
- Press and hold the color/reset button on the light until the red light has blinked twice in a row.
- Open the Falcon Eyes app and press 'Click me'.
- Click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner. Then enter the password of your wifi router.
- The app will now establish a connection. This can take up to 30 seconds. Wait until the red lights of all LEDs light up permanently.
- Press on a light of your choice.
- You can now adjust the brightness with the slide bar below. You can also adjust the color temperature by swiping the circular disc in the middle.
