Overview
The S2802T from Falcon Eyes is a high performance SMD (Surface Mouted Discrete) LED panel with a colour temperature of 5600K. SMD components, in contrast to Through Hole Technology (THT) components, do not have wire connections, but are soldered directly onto a printed circuit board (flat module) using solderable connection surfaces. The associated technology is surface mounting. SMD LEDs are excellently suited for flexible circuit boards, for example in cameras or on LED light strips.
The SMD LEDs offer a better light distribution at an angle of 100°. You can dim the light with the supplied control panel. The LED light has a robust metal housing and a modern design. The high CRI of 95 RA is suitable for demanding users and professional studios alike. The colour temperature is 5600K and the maximum output power is 56W. The U-Bracket has a standard spigot adapter so that the light fits almost any light stand.
The Falcon Eyes LED Lamp Set LPL-S2802T-K2 (56W) is one of the MIRR collection series, and inherits slim and light weight as main characteristics. The lights (56W each) have 512 LED lights each and are well protected under the metal housing. The lamps have a color temperature of 5600K, and they are provided with a diffuser plate and high CRI (95), what makes them very suitable for portrait photography. The lamps have a 100 degree beam angle.
The controller can adjust the power output steplessly. The LPL-S2802T lamps can be used with V mount battery (not included) or AC power. The set includes two LPL-S2802T lamps and a robust carrying bag.
New S-Generation
The series of LPL-S LED lights have a special soft filter integrated, so that the individual LEDs are not visible. This creates the effect of a softbox, which makes the emitted light more diffuse and therefore softer.
Wireless Communication
Using the control panel of the Sophiez, LPL and RX series, among others, the lights can be controlled simultaneously and with only one control panel. All you need to do is set the lights to the same channel (A/B/C/D/OFF). Then you can use one of the LED lights as the central control panel for the whole group. This also works if you have several lights from this series. It is also possible to create two sets and then control them independently by setting them to different channels.
