Description
The camouflage tent was developed by nature and wildlife photographers: used extensively, tested and adjusted where necessary. The Stealth Gear camouflage tent is a one-person camouflage tent for nature photography in a comfortable sitting position.
Thanks to the simple but stable spring steel construction, this camouflage tent can be easily set up and folded up (pop-up) again and again. Secure the tent at all corners with a peg. Ready for use!
Perfect camouflage
If you are often out in nature, you will quickly notice that birds and mammals are very shy of people. No wonder, considering that these animals have been hunted almost everywhere for centuries.
The best solution for successful wildlife photography is to make yourself and your equipment invisible with a camouflage tent. The basic idea is that the animals no longer see or recognize us as humans and therefore do not feel threatened.

Simple, fast and mobile
The advantage of portable camouflage is that you can take it with you anytime, anywhere and use it quickly when the opportunity arises.
The Tent fabric is well camouflaged on the outside and coated black on the inside so that it is as dark as possible inside. You have enough space to sit or stand and of course space for your equipment. Place your bag on the floor next to you. The photo and viewing windows on each side, each equipped with an insect protection net, give you enough overview. This insect net can be removed.
The tent fabric itself is made of robust material (polyester 150D) that lasts a long time. Even when it rains, you stay dry thanks to the water column of 2,500 mm. However, keep in mind that the weather resistance may decrease slightly if left outside for months or even longer. In addition, slight color fading may occur if the tent is exposed to sunlight for a long time.
So if you are looking for an ideal large photo hide for one person that is easy to carry and can be set up and folded in seconds, the Extreme Double Altitude Hide is the perfect choice for you!

Prepare and set up
It's fun and useful to visit a natural area and prepare well so that you can start taking nature photography with your camouflage tent. But even a casual encounter can turn into a great photo session because you can set up the hideout quickly.
If possible, use existing vegetation to help your photo hideout blend in with its surroundings. Due to its compact size, this is easy in most cases. It's best to set up your hiding place the day or evening before so that birds and mammals get used to it and you don't waste time entering the area.

Definition: The Water Column of a Tent
The water column indicates the maximum water pressure that a tent fabric can withstand.
A water column of 1,500 mm means that the tent fabric can withstand the pressure
of a 1,500 mm (1.5 meter) high column of water before water penetrates the fabric.
The higher it is, the more waterproof the tent material is.
Waterproofness
The water column is also a unit of measurement to measure the watertightness e.g.
B. of technical fabrics (tents, functional and rainwear).
DIN EN ISO 811:2018
regulates the method for determining the resistance to the penetration of water.
The following “hydrostatic water pressure test” must be carried out: The outside
of the material is exposed to the water. The water pressure starts at zero, the
water column rises by 100 mmWC or 600 mmWC per minute, depending on the standard.
The time is measured until the third drop can be seen on the inside. The pressure
that is acting at this point in time is then given in millimeters of water column.
Top tents are considered waterproof from 1500 mm
and tent floors from 2000 mm according to DIN.
