Description

The L-1.5 Fresnel Light from LINKSTAR is a compact LED light with integrated Fresnel lens and a colour temperature of 5500K. Thanks to the NP-F battery, you can use the LINKSTAR L-1.5 LED light anywhere on location. The light can also be connected to a mains socket using the optional SP-AC9-3A 1 pin power supply unit (not supplied). The brightness is continuously adjustable. The low weight of 538 g (without accessories) facilitates transport. An optional accessory kit with three honeycomb types, softbox, barn door set, four colour filters, cone nut and diffuser ball is also optionally available.

The lamp is equipped with a mini ball head to adjust the angle of the light. It features a 1/4" female thread and a hot shoe to place it on your DSLR. Special clips allow a colour or diffusion filter to be mounted in front of the lamp (not included). Everything can be safely transported in the sturdy storage bag.

Special Features Fresnel Lights

The advantages of Fresnel LED lights over conventional tungsten-halogen Fresnel devices are heat generation, colour temperature flexibility and weight. Headlight lenses have an optical axis like conventional lenses. They concentrate the light in the direction of this axis. High-quality headlights for film and TV lighting are mostly offered as stepped-lens headlights. In addition to providing uniform, wide-area illumination with soft edges, this design allows infinite adjustment of the light exit angle. The Fresnel lens of these spotlights is frosted ("frosted") to avoid projection of the step rings. Fresnel lamps are extremely useful because they are less hard than incandescent lamps and for many people they produce a very flattering light on the face of a subject.
