Description

Freedom, flexibility and creativity are almost unlimited with this spider leg mini tripod. The first technical requirement is first of all the manufacturing method generally used at Leofoto. As with all Leofoto aluminium products, only heavy-duty aircraft aluminium is used, which is CNC-milled with extreme precision. In the case of this mini tripod, an almost complete black anodisation follows. A load capacity of 3 kg (with the camera mounted directly on the 1/4-inch screw) is the result of high-quality material and precise manufacturing methods. 162 g weight distributed over 143 mm of closed length. The maximum working height is 180 mm and the minimum is 30 mm.

The 3-Way Pan-Tilt Head

However, aluminum legs are subject to the environment in which they are used, which simply means they heat up in the sun, cool down in the cold, and can rust if not properly cleaned after exposure to freshwater and saltwater. The second, newer, and more expensive material option is carbon fiber, which has become a darling in the world of outdoor and landscape photography due to its lighter weight and excellent rigidity.
