Product Description

The Leofoto LH-40R Tripod Ball Head is a professional high-performance ball head designed for demanding photographers who require maximum precision, stability, and flexibility. With a load capacity of up to 20 kg, it is ideal for heavy DSLR and mirrorless camera systems including telephoto lenses.

The 40 mm precision ball enables exceptionally smooth yet highly stable movement while maintaining strong load support. Thanks to manufacturing tolerances within 0.01 mm, extremely precise clamping and guiding are ensured. Despite its high load capacity, the ball head remains lightweight at only approx. 540 g.

The base diameter is 57 mm, and mounting is done via a robust 3/8"-16 thread, ensuring secure compatibility with most professional tripods.

The key feature of the LH-40R is its dual pan base with independent 360° rotation. Both the base and the clamp allow precise panoramic rotation, supported by finely engraved scale markings for accurate adjustments.

The large ergonomic locking knob ensures comfortable handling. The clamping resistance can be individually adjusted and saved, allowing fast reproduction of recurring setups.

Two integrated 90° cutouts allow quick switching between landscape and portrait orientation without losing composition alignment.

All metal components are made from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. This material offers high strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent rigidity. All parts are CNC-machined from solid blocks, ensuring significantly higher precision and durability compared to cast components.
