Product Description

The Leofoto VH-30 is a premium, compact 2-way tripod head designed for photographers, videographers and nature observers who require precise camera control in a lightweight package. Thanks to its open-frame construction, the tripod head weighs only 422 g (14.9 oz) while supporting an impressive load capacity of up to 15 kg (33 lbs). It is an excellent choice for DSLRs, mirrorless cameras with telephoto lenses, video cameras and spotting scopes.

The ergonomic 31 cm control handle provides exceptionally smooth and precise panning and tilting movements. It can be mounted on either the left or right side, making it equally comfortable for both left- and right-handed users.

The variable tilt friction can be finely adjusted and securely locked at angles up to ±90°. A separate locking knob ensures reliable positioning, while the integrated 360° panoramic base enables smooth horizontal panning—ideal for video recording, wildlife photography and nature observation.

The Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release clamp allows fast and secure camera changes. Included is an extra-long 100 mm quick-release plate with both 1/4" and 3/8" mounting screws, providing secure attachment for a wide range of cameras and spotting scopes.

Difference Between the Leofoto VH-30 and VH-30R

The only difference between the Leofoto VH-30 and the VH-30R is the panoramic mechanism. The VH-30 features a single panoramic base, whereas the VH-30R includes an additional panoramic base for greater flexibility. As a result, the VH-30 is slightly lighter and has a lower profile, making it an ideal choice for users who prefer a more compact setup.
