Description

When this X-Cel 3x Barlow lens is inserted between the eyepiece and the telescope, it triples the Magnification of all your 1.25" eyepieces. The premium apochromatic optics deliver high-contrast, sharp images that are virtually free of false colors.

The black anodized housing with orange highlights matches the Celestron X-Cel LX eyepieces line.A central rubber grip helps you keep your hands securely on the barrel, even if your fingers are cold or you're wearing gloves. A brass compression ring just on top of the X-Cel Barlow gently but firmly grips your eyepiece as you turn the thumbscrew. Once the thumbscrew is secured, the brass ring will hold your eyepiece firmly in the barlow rather than relying on the tip of the thumbscrew itself, providing a better grip and protecting the barrel from scratches.

The barrel of the Celestron X-Cel LX 3x Barlow is threaded for 1.25" filters, allowing you to change eyepieces without having to remove and reinstall the filter on each eyepiece barrel.
