Description

Thanks to its V-shape, the bean bag can be easily adapted to different surfaces. The bean bag is also equipped with a shoulder strap that makes it easy to carry or attach as a counterweight. This strap is easy to adjust thanks to the adjustable clips that can be attached in two lengths and can also be removed from the bean bag if desired.

Use the bean bag to place your camera/lens combination firmly and stably on it for optimal support. This also helps to reduce vibrations. Another option is to use the strap as a counterweight under your tripod.

The bean bag is made of durable, waterproof polyester and is easy to clean. To fill the bean bag, use the high quality zipper. Beans, grains, peas or other organic materials are suitable for filling the bean bag.

Definition: The Water Column of a Tent

The water column indicates the maximum water pressure that a tent fabric can withstand. A water column of 1,500 mm means that the tent fabric can withstand the pressure of a 1,500 mm (1.5 meter) high column of water before water penetrates the fabric. The higher it is, the more waterproof the tent material is.

DIN EN ISO 811:2018 regulates the method for determining the resistance to the penetration of water. The water pressure starts at zero, the water column rises by 100 mmWC or 600 mmWC per minute, depending on the standard. The time is measured until the third drop can be seen on the inside. The pressure that is acting at this point in time is then given in millimeters of water column.

Top tents are considered waterproof from 1500 mm and tent floors from 2000 mm according to DIN.
