The ZWO ASI294MC is a versatile color astronomy camera featuring the highly sensitive Sony IMX294CJK CMOS sensor. Thanks to its back-illuminated design, high quantum efficiency and large Full Well Capacity, it is ideally suited for deep-sky astrophotography as well as lunar and planetary imaging. Even without active cooling, the camera delivers detailed images with low noise.

Ideal for Deep-Sky Astrophotography

The high sensitivity of the ASI294MC makes it possible to capture faint nebulae and galaxies even with short exposure times. By subsequently stacking multiple exposures, detailed results with a good signal-to-noise ratio can be achieved. Increasing the gain also allows individual exposures to be shortened, helping to reduce the effects of atmospheric turbulence and tracking inaccuracies.
