Highly sensitive sensor for reliable guiding
The ZWO ASI 220MM Mini is a particularly light-sensitive monochrome astro camera designed specifically for autoguiding as well as Moon and planetary imaging. The SC2210 CMOS sensor offers 2.07 megapixels, a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and 4.0 µm pixels.
With a quantum efficiency of up to 92% and excellent NIR sensitivity, the ASI 220MM Mini can reliably detect even faint guide stars. This makes it ideal for off-axis guiding and demanding guiding applications.
Compact 1.25" design for easy autoguiding
The compact 1.25" housing allows particularly easy adaptation to the telescope. Weighing only 60 g, it puts very little load on the focuser. The short back focus of just 8.5 mm also makes focusing easier when back focus is limited.
Via the integrated ST4 port, the camera can be connected directly to the autoguiding port of a compatible mount. The ASI 220MM Mini is ASCOM compatible and can be used with software such as PHD Guiding, GuideDog, MetaGuide, Guidemaster, APT, AstroArt and MaxIm DL. Autoguiding software is not included.
Also suitable for Moon, planetary and infrared imaging
In addition to its use as an autoguider, the ASI 220MM Mini is also suitable for Moon and planetary imaging. Its high sensitivity and frame rate enable detailed images. Thanks to the integrated IR-transmissive clear glass filter, the camera can also be used for interesting infrared imaging.
