Description

Thanks to a special corrector lens, this reflector telescope is very compact – although it has a focal length of one meter, the tube is only fifty centimeters long. With a 114 mm aperture, it already shows many deep-sky objects, and thanks to the long focal length, high magnifications for planets are also easy to achieve.

The equatorial mount is designed specifically for astronomical observation: when aligned to the North Star, you only need to track the object along one axis when observing planets at high magnification. This makes it easy to re-center your target even after a short break. While observing becomes more comfortable, setup takes slightly longer because you need to align the mount and balance the telescope with the included counterweights. However, no tools are required, and the setup only takes a little more time.
