Description

Triggers flashes wirelessly. Compatible with Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II cameras. The transmitter slides directly into the hot shoe and utilizes a 2.4 GHz frequency with a range of 100m to trigger the remote flashes mounted on the receiver. The trigger has a hot shoe and a tripod socket for mounting a flash unit or tripod. here are even both TTL and manual flash modes available for full creative control. And, it can utilize 7 channels and 3 groups for setting up multiple flash units easily and efficiently. The E-TTL-318C utilizes a series of LEDs to display settings and allow users to make adjustments. Multiple sync modes are available for more specific needs or effects, including 1st and 2nd curtain sync. A high speed sync mode is available when a flash is connected and will help in bright lighting conditions and for stopping motion with a maximum speed of 1/8000 second. Additionally, the transmitter and the receiver run on 2 AA batteries each.

High Speed Sync (HSS) Control

Control the High Speed Sync (HSS) function from the device when used with Canon's E-TTL flashes that offer HSS. This mode allows your camera to set the shutter speed faster than a flash would normally be able to fire in sync with. In the case of the NICEFOTO E-TTL-318C, this extended range is up to 1/8,000s

Second Curtain Sync (SCS) Control

Second Curtain Sync (SCS) mode fires a flash at the end of an exposure (rather than at the beginning) to create the illusion of motion in an image with flashes that offer SCS. This creates an image that blurs the motion of the subject from its position at the beginning of the exposure and then fully illuminates and freezes the subject at the end for a natural looking "blur trail"

Additional Lighting Options

Trigger studio strobes as well as on-camera flash units. This is an especially valuable feature when lights are on a boom or otherwise hung overhead
