Description

The FLIR C5 fits easily in your pocket. This allows you to precisely, quickly and reliably detect fuses that have become hot, air leaks and pipework problems, among other things, at any time. Hidden problems are easily identified with the true thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 160 × 120 (19,200 pixels), MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) and the visual 5 megapixel camera and LED work light. The C5 uploads your images directly to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud, where you can organize them and back up the files. Then you can immediately share the images with your customers or create professional reports that can describe the problem and the necessary repair measures.

Robust, reliable, compact

The C5 is certified according to protection class IP54 and is therefore resistant to the ingress of dust and water as well as a fall 2m height. This means that the pocket-sized C5 is ready for any job.

MSX Technology

The displayed image is a combination of a thermal image and a visual camera. This mix of visual and thermal imaging is called MSX (or Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging). The visual camera provides sharp, detailed contours, while the thermal image provides a picture of the temperature profile. Use the MSX slider to adjust the visual/thermal image balance. You can also switch both off.

Measure and Visualize

You can actually measure temperatures with the FLIR C5, but you can also determine and set the temperature range (automatic, manual or 1-button level span). The camera offers different color palettes in order to display heat differences as clearly as possible. For example, you can use the gray palette for the highest contrast, or 'Rainbow' to see the full color spectrum from the coldest to the warmest object.

Capture, save and share images

With the camera you can take photos and save them with appropriate parameters. The recordings can then be automatically shared to the FLIR Ignite Cloud, where you can store and manage all your files and share them directly with your team or clients. Once you turn on MSX, the photos will be saved in both the thermal image and the visible image. The visual camera resolution of 5 megapixels ensures that you can also take ordinary photos in high quality, i.e. without thermal imaging.

FLIR IGNITE™ CLOUD SERVICE

The FLIR C5 automatically connects to the FLIR Ignite library via the thermal images in the cloud can be saved. So you can upload, organize and share files with colleagues or clients.
