Description

The Ultima 80 mm features a 45° viewing angle and offers a step up in aperture from the 65 mm, offering 50% brighter images. The 80 mm refractor features excellent multi-coated optics packed into a portable and durable refractor design and it comes standard with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece.

This series was designed to perform well in a range of viewing situations, making it a great all-around optical instrument. You’ll love it for observing nature and long distance spotting and since it is completely waterproof you can feel comfortable using it in extreme weather. The green rubber optical tube allows for subtle observation in any nature environment. Ultima spotters are a great companion for any nature or outdoor enthusiast. Soft carrying case included.

Camouflage Backpack

The Celestron Optics Backpack protects your spotting scope or travel telescope from the elements and makes quick action easy - whenever the sky allows it. The large inner compartment even offers enough space for an 80mm spotting scope such as the M2 shelf (without eyepiece), which is securely fixed in place by two of the four Velcro straps. A second pair of Velcro straps next to it provides support for another device (this could also be a large camera lens or a thermos flask) without the rucksack being even close to its capacity.

The numerous outside pockets offer enough space to store all kinds of accessories safely and within easy reach - from cleaning utensils, eyepieces and adapters to small binoculars. Overlapping fabric lips protect the sturdy zips from rainwater.

The quick-release loops at the bottom of the backpack hold a tripod or ISO mat (or both). The mesh pocket on the inside offers plenty of storage space for papers, books, mobile phone or tablet. The PALS strips on the front outside can be used to attach additional pockets as required.

The adjustable, padded shoulder straps let you carry even heavy luggage over longer distances without any problems. In addition, the longitudinally adjustable hip strap with click fastener can almost completely take over the load of the shoulder straps. In this way you can carry even heavy equipment from the hip without putting any strain on the upper body. All accessory straps have quick release buckles, can be adjusted in no time at all and thus distribute the weight optimally.

The Celestron optical backpack is an ideal aid for reaching the most remote observation points and above all - to be always ready to start.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Limitations of Normal Wear and Tear

Product exteriors (rubber or other material) are fully covered for five years against defects in materials and workmanship but small scratches or blemishes are not covered.

Included accessories such as lens caps/covers, eyecups, cases/pouches, and straps are fully covered for two years against defects in materials and workmanship, but are not covered for accidental loss.

Over time, optical coatings may develop small blemishes through normal wear and tear or abuse under various environmental conditions. These are not covered and the determination is at the sole discretion of Celestron.

Other Limitations Not Covered

The basic optical system is covered for the useful life of the product for the original owner.

Collimation and optical alignment issues must be claimed within 30 days of purchase.

Loss of the product or of lens caps/covers, eyecups, cases/pouches, or straps are not covered.
