Description

The Asp-Micro handheld observational thermal monocular is equipped with a 160×120 infrared detector and a 720×540 LCOS display. It supports functions of observation, highest temperature target tracking, distance measurement, Wi-Fi hotspot, and so on. The high-sensitivity built-in thermal detector provides you with clear view even in total darkness. The monocular is mainly applied to scenarios such as patrolling, law enforcement, searching and rescuing, drug enforcement, antismuggling, criminal seizing, hiking, travel, and hunting, etc.

Functions

Distance Measurement:
The device realizes distance measurement function after marking the top and bottom of target, and input the target height.
Hot Spot Mark:
The device detects and marks the hot spot of highest temperature.
Mode Switch:
Device supports pallet switch and distance measurement.
Storage:
Built-in memory module supports video recording/snapshot capturing.
Digital Zoom:
Device supports 1×, 2×, and 4× digital zoom.
Wi-Fi Hotspot:
Device can capture snapshots, record videos, and set parameters via APP after being connected to your phone.

Range

The thermal camera can detect vehicles up to 559 m away and people up to 182 m away. Please note that this is the distance at which you see "something" and is not to be confused with identification distance (e.g. at this distance you can tell if the person you are seeing is male or female ). The camera's horizontal field of view is 15.6 degrees (at 1x zoom). The fixed focus eliminates the need for constant manual focusing.

Physical Properties

Since the device is IP67 certified, you can take it with you wherever you go. This means that the thermal imaging camera is waterproof, dustproof and can withstand a 1.5m drop onto concrete. Even in very cold temperatures (-20°C) and extreme heat (up to +55°C) you can use the camera without any problems. The internal Li-ion battery allows up to 7 hours of continuous use. The camera also has a standby mode.

Live streaming to your smartphone or tablet

As with high-end thermal imaging cameras, the ASP-Micro allows you to stream images live to your smartphone/tablet and control the camera settings remotely. This can be done with the free T-Vision app (for iOS and Android). The connection is via Wi-fi.

Useful functions

You can display the environment to your liking using four color palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, and Fusion. The thermal imaging camera also has a so-called hot track function, where animals/people with cursors are immediately "tracked down". You can also use the "Distance measurement" function to measure the approximate distance to people, objects or animals. You can adjust the brightness and contrast both automatically and manually (five levels).
